My dad has recently died and I am trying to get some infomation on his sporting life and have been trying to find where I can get some archives of results etc could any one help me?

If his sporting achievements appeared in the local newspapers, then you should be able to find this information on microfiche via your local library service.

Try your local library and see if they can help.
